Location
We are located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland. This subtropical climate allows us to grow a very wide range of plants- many of which are suited to slightly warmer (or slightly cooler) regions. We have the benefit of winters that are very mild- giving our tropical plants frost-free growing conditions- and summers which are not too hot-giving our more temperate and Mediterranean plants respite from the extremely humid conditions that they don't like.
We are situated on a sloping site with plenty of meandering pathways, rockwalls and areas of the garden where we encourage visitors to take a leisurely walk, pause to taste a rare fruit and to see how we grow the various plants in our range. If visitors are more adventurous (and wearing good shoes!), we are adjacent to ~100 hectares of bushland and reserves and we can give you some more walking track advice to allow you to spend a few hours around Kiels Mountain. Additionally we know some great places in this area where you can do a 'tour' of wonderful gardens/producers and off the beaten track places!
Our nursery is open by appointment only (for now), but starting in May 2018, we'll be open on Fridays from 10am til 4pm. So give us a call if you'd like to visit!
